MEETING BETWEEN JICA EXPERTS, WASA LAHORE AND URBAN UNIT
A JICA team comprising of Ms. Maki Suzuki (Country Officer, South Asia Department, JICA), Mr. Takehiko Ogawa (Consultant JICA), Mr. Nozomu Ono (JICA Representative Pakistan), Mr. Aslam Khokhar (Consultant JICA) and Mr. Mahmood A. Jillani (Deputy Resident Representative JICA) visited the Urban Unit on May 09th 2011. Dr. Dr. Nasir Javed (Director the Urban Unit), Mr. Jamshed Butt (Deputy Managing Director WASA Lahore), Mr. Abdul Qadeer Khan (Director P & E WASA Lahore) also attended the meeting. The meeting was called to discuss progress and milestones of Punjab Municipal Water Act and completion of Punjab Water & Sanitation Academy Lahore. Mr. Abdul Razzaq, (Senior. M&E Specialist the Urban Unit) and Mr. Atif Nawab (Research Associate the Urban Unit) also attended the meeting.
